In this auction, there are 213 lot but surprisingly the composition of each denomination differs dramatically: re:-

Rm1 = 53 lots; Rm5=32 lots ; Rm10=21 lots ; Rm20=36 lots ; Rm50=75 lots and Rm100=14 lots.

Seems funny that Rm10 has such low issue/being put up for auction. Perhaps the main reasons for such funny proportion is that there could be having another such auction before New Year or can it be some of these banknotes are still retained by someone for  rainy days ! Lets then watch the next auction to see it. Also note that the prefix number in some denomination do not run consecutively, again what happens to them- will they be realize in the forthcoming auctions?

Overall although this auction fetched a high revenue for Bank Negara and helps to eradicate ambiquity in the handling of such special serial banknotes, it has caused havoc to the numismatic markets in terms of pricing as compared to earlier established issues of special serial banknotes!

Perhaps the present special serial number banknotes numismatic segment needs to be realigned to suit the new pricing or maybe the first auction prices might be UNREALISTIC which might be re adjusted after two or three auctions- this is yet to be seen!
